Artist Statement
I’m an artist/illustrator living in Laguna Beach concerned with capturing feeling, humor, and the sublime in free flowing line-art. I draw spontaneously often while on the beach, usually equipped with only a handful of pens and markers. I draw directly onto paper. I observe, entranced, dreaming upon whatever is in front of me with an intent to try an capture- not so much what it is that I’m looking at, but how I FEEL about what I’m looking at. In short, my job is to show just a tiny little bit of heaven.
